We got Bandit from a BYB and PA and drove all the way back to MD. From the moment I held him I was in love. We stopped every 30 minutes to let him go potty on potty pads we put on the parking lot floor, we tried to feed him and give him water (which he never ate or drank). By the time we got home a 5 hour trip had turned into 8 hours! He still hadn't eaten or drank anything so we gave him some Nutrical. We put him in his crate and he was crying so much DH slept on the floor by his crate...he was in love too We had so much fun playing with him the next day, he was cuter and more loveable than anything we'd ever seen before He still hadn't eaten or drank anything so we called an ER vet and they told us to rush him in....he was only 1 pound 6 oz....about 4 hours later (and hundreds of dollars) he was diagnosed with coccidia, kennel cough, and worms. They gave us canned food and a syringe thing to help us feed him. He started eating that night and finally pooped!! When I had to go back to work that Tuesday (Memorial Day weekend so no school on Monday) I didn't want to go. DH worked across the street so he came home at lunch to feed him and take him out. I was so excited to come home and play with him. We had his play room set up in our kitchen. We still lived in our apt which was super teeny. Bandit, DH, and I would spend hours in the 3 ft x 8 ft kitchen playing on the floor. We would get Subway every night so we'd have dinner and bring the leftover for lunch so we wouldn't have to make lunch the next day. It was so much fun!!!
