Lacey was the same way. Grieved terribly whenever we had to leave her. We once had to leave her at the kennel when we went on vacation. Because we could not find anyone to watch her. They had a difficult time getting her to eat. We never left her again at a kennel. If we could not bring her with us, we made sure somebody was at the house to care for her. Lacey was a total lap dog. If company came over, she had to be in your lap the whole time. Or she would cry and scratch at your leg until you picked her up. She was spoiled rotten for us. |
