Yup, been there done that twice. Luckily Soph's eye wasn't seriously scratched either time. She's now learned that jumping off the bed onto a sleeping cat is something she really shouldn't do. I'd keep them separated and introduce them through a screen of some sort that the cat can't reach through and get her. And don't forget to take some mommy and me time with the cats so they don't resent the new baby.
