First, I'm so sorry about the loss of your sister, that's terrible. I would guess that with your situation, you were forces into being the oldest child and your brother is the baby (as long as there is no more than six years between the two of you, if there's more than six years, he would be considered an oldest child like you). I would definitely read the book, it's so interesting...
