I think it would be a great idea to go to a show if you can and hang out in the grooming area,if you can.If you have a mentor or show/breeder friend all the better....go to a show or 2 with them.

If you can't do this ,there is a new DVD out that you can purchase from Yorkie Club.It's called "Show Preparation" and features Kirsten McGregor a top handler in Canada and the US. She does an amazing job in show preparation and covers preparing young as well as mature dogs.

The other DVD that might help you is "Best in Show" it's more about preparing your dog for the show world as far as handling,and things you can do to help condition him/her mentally and physically.

Also there is a site called "National Dog ShowVideo Professionals" where you can order DVD's of dog shows,in our case Yorkie shows....check it out.I just ordered and received the NY specialties....awesome !!
