Of course not! But since he did try to lick you and awake you to take him, you can't really blame him for that. It sounds like he has learned to not pee in the house, right? Is there any way you can put a pee pee bin in your bedroom or somewhere close to the bedroom where Pinkerton can go by himself (with steps for getting on and off the bed)? The main reason Yorkie parents don't let them sleep in the bed is because of pee accidents, if Pinkerton knows not to pee on the bed, I think it's fine for him to do sleep with you.
