You have good reason to be nervous. Many a yorkie has had their eyes scratched or other scratching injuries. Don't rush it, but I would try to keep them apart for a time and just introduce them slowly to each other. I would also make sure the litter boxes are in a location your puppie can't eat the litter or its contents, because that will probably happen and then you will have a very sick puppy.
