When we got home, I gave both dogs a rib bone. They took it, licked it and then just pit it in their bed. So, I tried the pork ear. Daisy ATE the whole thing in about 30 minutes. Is this normal? I wanted a chew toy - not a food treat. Daisy is chewing on the rib bone now but the label said bones may splinter causing injusy. Has anyone had trouble with natural bones hurting their pups?

Others have reccommended himalayan chews but I'm not positive what they are. Plus, they seem pretty expensive. I need somehting that Daisy can't EAT and that won't cost me a fortune to keep a supply of - any suggestions?
Be careful with pigs ears... they are very fatty and if you baby eats a whole one at a sitting you could risk something like pancreatitis.

Himalayan Chews are good... they are a bit expensive BUT they last longer then anything else AND are very safe.

Bully Sticks are also a good option...they are very safe for these little guys.
