Welcome to YT! I agree, she will let you know when she is tired. I have hiked with my Simon for years and we will go miles. Hallie doesn't care too much for the great outdoors so I have a sling carrier and when she gets tired she plants her feet and lays down refusing to move another step, that's when I put her in her carrier and Simon and I keep going
