Ladymom first posted that link, and I didn't understand why it was different for smaller breeds, this link explains it so well. That's one of the reasons why Yorkietalk is so valuable, it give breed specific information. Smaller breeds mature much slower than large breeds, yet they reach close to their full grown size much sooner.
