Whenever placing a puppy, kitten, etc (I have homed MANY of them) I do do my research. I don't want the poor babies ending right back up in the same situation.  |

No amount will do that. I agree.
You did not mention doing vet check....so I simply suggested it. And...simply suggested rescue, but if you think you want to do it yourself, go for it!
