This is the same problem i was having. my yorkie is going to be a year old in april,
mine at first did not like other dog's until after two weeks of us keeping my sister dog.now she just Love Other Dog's.. For the past 3 months i have been going crazy for a female Biewer. im going to wait until about october before i buy my biewer. there for she will be 18 months old.. So Good Luck With Your search...
