thanks for the advice.
I am still learning about the female dogs as i have only ever owned a male dog in the past. i would not want then spayed/neutered as i would like to breed them in a year or so. i do, however have a 'bitch spray' that i have started to use and it seems to work, so the male will hopefully stay of her.
