I have always thought that the problem with just saying the word "no" without the "bite" is you need to be consistent with a behavior. If you don't say no to them for any other reason than biting, then you are OK! Saying "no bite" singles out the behavior. However, I am leaning on the hope that they understand human speech with repetition, lol!! I am probably way off base here, and won't mind if someone wants to correct me on this! | No we always said no bite rather than no for the same reason. We also say bad potty and good potty. I dont know if it makes a difference but my dogs do seem to know what I am talking about. |
