jaysmart - I can't say I followed your post as I haven't really been involved in all this but just want to tell you what you said was HONEST and sounds like you have a good heart....can't say the same for whoever you dealt with.
you said she lost alot of dogs to an STD ? Are you serious ? That's just shameful and speaks volumes about any breeder that could let that happen..... how sad for the dogs.....
I admit to being lost with the many posts (don't have time to read all of them) but to me every thing I read screams BAD breeder. If you can call this 'breeding' - sounds more the word should be dog 'SELLER' -
