Thanks for the help. So you don't give them anything to keep their blood sugar up the first few weeks? They gave me something to give my first yorkie till he was 12 weeks old (I think it was nutrical). But like I said he got sick anyway and then I had to give him Karo syrup every 2 hours for a couple of nights. It was awful, I thought he was going to die. I took him to the vet when I got him, but they didn't catch his parasite then. I am praying things will go a lot better with this one. It has been kept in the house. Roscoe was born in a kennel and kept out there. I know that any dog can get parasites or virus, but maybe he hasn't been exposed to as much. Thanks again.
