@Karen...I wanted to surprise you with these, I just knew you would love them. It is SO hard to get good pictures of our little baby! I swear to you, he thinks the "click" of the camera to take the photo is his cue to immediately turn his head in the other direction. Blake just sits and looks at me and Maddox isn't having any of it. I got sooooo lucky with these and I was super proud of them, I couldn't wait to show you! I love how the colors turned out, I am going to print one and frame them. I can't remember if I told you or not but Troy and I are getting our photos done in December for our anniversary and she is going to include the puppies (I guess they won't be puppies by then!!! ) in the session. I don't know how I will ever stand the anticipation until then, can't WAIT to share those with you! Did you see the last photo with him on that beige pillow? That is the one he went and curled up on his first night home and he REALLY thinks that is HIS pillow no matter how many times I try to remind him it is MOMMY's pillow. Perhaps mommy is the one who is confused? |
I take complete blame for that one Rebecca. LOL He has had his picture taken every week (sometimes much more) since he was born. And yes...he would learn to turn his head just a split second before the pic was taken. Every darn time!! The noises I had to make to get his attention were insane!! Or I had to have my husband stand behind me making silly noises or holding up really yummy treats. That worked alot...and was great at getting those ears up.
