Ahhhhh! Never had that situation, since my dogs have been placed with people that I've developed relationship. But, the first question I ask when I'm interviewing is: Do you have a problem with me visiting your home.....if the answer is yes.....end of conversation. I do know fellow exhibitor/breeders that have conducted credit checks, and checking with people's neighbors, family, etc.
