All of that is great advise!
I foster for YHR also, and I have been very blessed to be associated with such a wonderful group. When I got my first foster pup I had so many questions about feeding, vetting, etc.... I can't tell you how much it helped to be able to just pick up the phone and call my "rescue buddies"! They had a wealth of knowledge and talked me through a lot, any time day or night.
