I think that these babies have very light coats and what appears to be white might be the very lightest blue (silver). Yorkie Rose had a female that would almost look white ALL OVER especially after she was bred. She is one of the finest Yorkies I have ever seen, but was just very light. Her puppies were beautiful and dark!
One of my boys was bred to a very blonde female and those puppies all were typical standard colors of gold/tan and blue.
It's true that it is accepted that Maltese were used to thicken the coat of these younguns. They needed heavier coats because of their original purpose of going into holes to get varmints. Also, there was a terrier known as a Paisley which was black and white marked. These breeds are listed in some books and not in others but it is evident that somewhere way back, there were some white genes.
Your babies are gorgeous no matter the color. Some of us hoomans would celebrate if we had natural coloring like that in our hair..
