Did the vet recommend having her teeth cleaned (professionally)? Does she need to have that tooth pulled? That would be a good place to start.
Good thing you found this out! I don't have any home remedies, other than brushing their teeth, but she may be too painful if it's stopping her from eating. Brushing is something you could start after she has a dental, and feeding her kibble will help to keep them clean.
