Well welcome Bella! I honestly am a first time yorkie owner myself and am in the learning process of what they prefer and everything about them as well. I've always owned big dogs too, mainly because the people i've been around prefered big dogs and I was limited to them (I've always wanted a yorkie). Now I own a yellow lab and a yorkie, both breeds are sweet as can be but yorkies have a much bigger attitude which i love lol. And they get along great which i was a bit nervous about, if my yorkie barks or growls at the lab the lab backs off, she's gotta be the most gentle lab I've ever seen but then again thats the breed. But before I go off rambling some more I'll hush. Enjoy your new baby, they are so easy to fall in love with and maybe we'll both learn a lot here!
