I know that is a chance I take. We practice "Come Bonnie" every few minutes. She runs like the devil to me for a treat. Before I give her the treat, I take hold of the harness. I want to be sure I can secure her, should the need come up. I keep a very watchful eye and if I see anything *which I really don't see much" maybe another dog going down the road, I call her and clip on the leash.
Our calves are so funny and curious, they have to come over and check her out, like she is a novelty
I have to say if she really got after something, I know "Come Bonnie" would probably not work.
