It is always a risk (especially with these little guys) going under but they usually pull through just fine.
My older yorkie has been under for his neuter and to have a tooth extracted.
My younger yorkie was just under for her spay and a liver biopsy.

We have been through having Crosley & Wrigley spayed. Wrigley had teeth extracted when she was spayed as well. They both did great! (same vet that will be doing Camden)
I've just never had any dog have surgery except for spaying & dental!
