| I hate ppl like that.
Ppl have looked at Roxy and said she was a Silky, because of her hair... Actually, I had a paper sent to me from the AKC a while back saying that Roxy might not be purebred from a report someone placed.
A few months later, I got a letter again saying everything was checked, and Roxy was a full blooded Yorkie. I had never had a doubt she wasnt (not that it would have mattered) but the woman I got her from was fabulous, and I didnt doubt her.
But, since she has a very silky thin coat, ppl have insisted she wasnt purebred or she was a silky.
Its the same way with Yorkies being smaller. They come in all different colors, shapes, sizes... but theyre all bundles of perfection.
Excuse my ignorance, but screw those people. If they dont know their breed especially. Shame on them, and shame on the breeder who sold the little baby to her.
I also hate when ppl come up and say "Is she a teacup?". I've learned there is no sense in fighting with them about it. Then they ask who my breeder was, I guess they think theyll get a small one. Roxy wasnt bred to be small, she just happened to stay small unlike her brothers and sister. |
