I am really glad to read this.
I don't know if I'd call Jackson's hair cottony, because he doesn't really get mats. And the hair on his head is silky and gets greasy easily... but his hair is curly... so I'm glad to see you guys had success with it not being as poofy and wavy. Here's a pic of Jackson where you can kind of see the curlyness of his hair when it gets a bit longer...
