I would never board my pets either. Thankfully, I have a plethera of friends, family, neighbors who are generally willing to sit them while I'm gone. But I would never get mad or upset with them if they weren't willing to do that, for whatever reason. My dogs are MY responsibility, not theirs.
I agree that I think there should be more dog friendly parks and recreational opportunities. I don't think that every store, hotel and restaraunt should start allowing them in though. |
Thank goodness I live in a city that allows us to take small dogs in places. Most of the time it's bad children that need to be banned from places. I've seen too many accidents with children running wild in public places when they shouldn't have been, or screaming and acting hysterical. Parents who can't control their children should have to read a warning sign before entering. It's very disturbing and I'm not talking about an innocent new born baby. They are the exception. I've also seen dogs behave far better than some children at these places as well.
