Default be the pack leader

Oh wow, I can totally relate. I walk a 70lb pit and a 10lb yorkie. It is tough! The only thing that worked for me was to teach them both to walk on a loose leash next to me. Everytime they tried to pull ahead I would pull them back and say "heal." They both wear a harnas so that when I pull them back it doesn't hurt them and it is way more effective.

Don't do the two leash thing, I tired it with two yorkies and that didn't even work. I can't imagine a big dog and a yorkie on a double leash.

Just teach them to walk nice!! You have to be the dominant "pack leader" when you walk them. They will learn not to pull and to walk next to you. When I walk my dogs now I have to check and make sure they aren't off the leash because there's no pulling. It takes a little bit of time but yorkies and labs are smart, they will get it!
