Perhaps we need to download the AKC standard and carry a copy in our purses for just such incidents?
People who have big dogs want the BIGGEST of the breed. Those who have small dogs want the TINIEST of the breed. Go figure
Me? I just feel blessed that I have not *one*, but TWO marvelous Yorkies (one IN standard, and one OUT, although Puddie the Porker would probably be "in" if he lost a lb or 2!

I just don't understand the need for hostility. I've seen dogs that are *terrible* representatives of their breed, but so what? But I would **never** be so rude as to dis them. Someone loves them, and that's all that counts.
