Mary I just read through that whole thread and it doesn't say anything about him even being seen yet by the vet.. She says that she was at the shelter within an hour of the call and took him home. I bet money the shelter just guessed his weight...Maybe finding out what shelter he was at and calling them, you can ask if they weigh or just estimate weight on dogs.. I know here they don't weigh the shelter dogs..There are just to many of them..Also, do you have a phone number for Rizzo's mom so you can talk to her on the phone instead of emailing her.. Also, contact the rescue directly...They should want to do everything they can to see if this is Yoshi and reunite him with you or atleast give you peace of mind....
