I'm not sure if it will hurt but I don't think there is really much you can do besides trying to avoid the poop. We have bunny poop around too sometimes and Zach is always interested in getting a taste. I always keep him leashed if we are at the park and see poop otherwise he would go his own way eating every piece he could find.
