Me and Jackson are always up for meeting new friends, both doggy and people, and I would never let Jackson go lunging at another dog (unless the dog was like attacking HIM or me). I'm not saying this to be mean, as I understand it's not really responsible to let your dog approach someone w/o asking, but I would never tell someone "No! I don't wanna socialize with you!" And personally, I don't think any dog should be called straight up an ugly mutt. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... I find a lot of those mutts to be the best dogs out there.

Sorry but I beg to differ. I was texting on my phone, off the path, on a bench minding my own business, with my baby sitting by my side. She should have asked me first. Not let that dog walk up to me knowing I hadn't looked up at all to know he was right there. I didn't LET Cerise attack him. She did it automatically. Common sense would have told her not to let her flexi leash extend off the path onto a park bench where another woman and her puppy are minding their own business and not paying attention to her. But obviously she didn't have any! And her dog was ugly, big and scary looking. Loved or not, every animal is not attractive.
