Hee hee hee, your son has great taste. The flooring is beautiful.
I'm not sure if vinyl or linoleum are compatible with in-floor heating systems because they are both attached to the substrate with glue. The same might apply to faux tile products.
You have a tall order -- check with a flooring expert who might be able to give you some ideas and alternatives.
