Heated tile -- my dream for my kitchen!
You probably would not be happy with either linoleum or vinyl. I have the latter in my kitchen and it is not durable (especially now that I can't use my heavy chemical wax), and it is a serious downgrade in home value.
Tile is hard, but so beautiful. How about tile with area rugs?
Wood is beautiful and can be made more durable/impervious to scratches with a heavy coat of varnish, like the factory finished stuff, including laminates. The only drawback to laminates and veneers is that refinishing potential is limited compared to true hardwood. Not sure if all wood floor types can be used with in-floor heating systems.
Enjoy choosing your new flooring!
