I haven't read all the replies...but here's my two cents:
I think that given the situation, you acted well...I would not have been as contained as you must have been. If someone hurt my babies like that, I would have gone at them with a vengeance. However...did I understand correctly that Rocco isn't fixed? I would suggest that he get fixed asap, simply because that could help the issue. I would absolutely not allow them to ever touch my dogs again - literally throwing a dog?!?!? Who pulls that crap?! I would keep Rocco separated from their shih tzu (sp?), and get all dogs in the household fixed immediately. I would also begin looking for a new roommate, as this situation has "bad ending" all over in my mind... |
