We have had hardwood floors before we moved. It was alot of work, and not to forgiving of "accidents" either. I love the tile down stairs, but I dont think I want it through out the house. It is very hard, and I want the babies to be comfy.... |
laminate is almost like hardwood floors except for it pretty much scratch resistant....so i was told...they come in many different colors almost like hardwood floors...less maintenence on your part after it is laid down...they come in all size and form lol sorta like hardwood....the ones that i have helped lay down was the click it ones...where you didn't need to glue or nail them down..it was kinda hard at first until you get the hang of how to click the ends together and then it was easy after that...lol...they are most likely what you would rather go with...although i have also heard that if you had a flood it wouldn't withhold as good as hardwood...so a little pee puddle wouldn't cause too much damage unless your babies pee out waterfalls hehe
