Has anybody taken their dogs to Europe lately? Germany in particular. What kind of micro chip did you get for your dog? Seems like they have different frequencies over there and customs won't be able to read the standard chip any US vet here uses. I'm looking for any kind of advice you have. I know, there are "Travel Chips" available, but has anybody here used them? Do you bring your own scanner, just to be safe? I'm nervous, that I get to customs and they will turn me (or my dog) away, because of ID issues. Should I get 2 different chips? One for US use and one for travel????
