I have given up being shocked by our yorkie Sherman Tank's weight. His mom was 8 pounds and dad was 6 pounds. As of Saturday at the vet Sherman weighed in at 16.2 pounds. Sherman came from a litter of 5 pups 2 weigh about 10 pounds each and the other 2 weigh about 5 pounds each and then there is SHerman at 16.2 pounds. Instead of Bella Mia having a "runt" in the litter she had a "giant" of the litter. He is not unhealthy at all and is truly a wonderful yorkie. His vet says he is perfect for his bone structure.

PS Our vet says they do have to calibrate their scales on a regular basis.

My Thomas is 13 pounds..gotta love those Big Boys!
