Maggie was sore the very first night and quiet the 2nd day. By the 3rd day she was almost back to her normal terror self. lol

In all seriousness, Maggie was sore the first night and whined until we got the ok to give her more pain meds. You may want to make sure you speak with you vet about pain meds and how much/when you can give if needed. What I mean is, Maggie was spayed in the a.m. so she was okay to receive meds at night. Some are spayed later in the day so you may not be able to give meds that soon. Maggie also has 3 or 4 teeth removed.

Maggie did fine. and so will your little. It is very scary but in the long run it is so much better as the chances of mammary cancers are greatly reduced.

Hope this helps. and good luck, let us know how she does. check out my kiss-e collars if you are leaning towards have her use a collar after her spay. Bo
