I received Charlie as a gift from my fiance in early December. As soon as we got him, I started thinking about and researching getting another puppy for him to play with. I thought alot about male vs. female, etc. It took me a little while, but on Janurary 31, we brought home Teddie.

At first, Charlie was apprehensive of Teddie. And that is unusual since Charlie loves to play with everything and everyone. It was almost like he was saying, when is this thing leaving my house? When they finally started to play, Charlie was a bit rough. (Teddie is pretty small 1.5 pounds at 3.5 months, Charlie is about 5 pounds at 5 months). So we watched them very closely whenever they were together.

Now, they play together, sleep together, eat out of the same bowl, etc. We can leave them alone together. Sometimes, they still play a little rough, but now both of them initiate the playing.

Just give it a little bit of time! I am sure that they will love each other and will learn to play together.
