For the first time is several weeks, she got an improved report. After various treatments and a regimen of meds. Keeping in mind Poppit is on, and probably always will be on, a lot of maintainance meds, but finally we can see her getting better. This morning the vet took blood, (which we have yet to get the results). Still she has gained an ounce (after losing 1 and 1/2 pds.) and the doctor could not hear any heart murmur anymore (which was very pronounced at first). Thank You Jesus!.
And thanks to everyone here for your kindness and prayers.
There were some scary times when we thought she was dying before our eyes and in our arms, and even times when we debated putting her down because of her quality of life, and look how she has rebounded. Poppit is a trooper and even if we face those times again (which is a good possibility) She is looking better, happy, running around wanting to play ball all the time again. :-)
If she see us with the pill bottles or the syringe, she will scamper to a hiding place... she ain't no dummy.... I might do the same..
