He doesnt look out of the ordinary. Some Yorkies do have different coloring if thats what you mean....

I wouldnt say he looks like a Parti tho, I would say if anything he looks like a Morkie (Yorkie/Maltese) who took the more Yorkie side. The woman I got Roxy from had a Morkie, she also had a Maltese. You would have thought that the Morkie was a Yorkie besides its more silver/grey black color than usual tan gold/blue black colors we usually see.

Also, I am not accusing your breeder of anything, but sometimes ppl lie about what their dogs are to get more money for them for a purebred. If the Morkie favors the Maltese, they will call it a Maltese, and if it favors the Yorkie, they call it a Yorkie. Even if they are AKC registered, sometimes ppl lie about the mothers and fathers. You can even dispute it and the AKC will run blood tests.

When I first got Roxy, I thought having the AKC papers would mean something to me, theyre nice to have, but I didnt bother to get them with Lexi because I'm not going to breed, and you dont need AKC papers to love. So really, the choice is up to you if you think youd like to look into it.

Yorkie or Morkie... your puppy is beautiful, and adorable, and precious! But I'm sure I didnt have to tell you that.
