I love my Rainbow! We have all wood and tile (in the bathrooms) and I absolutely love the attachment and hose for the hard floors. While I was cleaning the filter thing on the bottom this weekend, I saw that it had "1986" stamped on it. It's THAT old! I bought it back in 2000, I believe, as a "refurbished" model.... couldn't afford a new one. My parents also have one that they bought new back in the early 80's.
