I'm sorry, but outlawing a breed shouldn't happen, IMO. Irresponsible PEOPLE created these dogs in the first place and irresponsible owners handle these dogs. If you are not a mentally strong willed person, or willing to train such a strong breed, then terrible tragedy's such as these happen. Humans need to step up to the plate before banishing someone's beloved pet. Pit's are actually wonderful family dogs. I don't own a Pit, but I feel like someone needs to speak for them as well. I don't like blaming a breed. |
I completely agree... humans are to blame for these tragic situations.
