A patient of mine just told me her 4 lb yorkie is pregnant for 2 months now and she (the yorkie) only has a month more to go before delivery
. Yes you read it right!!! I was soooo pi$$ed. I told her dogs are only pregnant 63 days. I told her to get the dog to a vet now as she will need a c-section!! To top it off she is talking about the yorkie dad being bigger than the mom. This is a bit of a dilema as I am thinking this patient and her husband are BYB's but she is also a patient of mine. I want to report the situation but what would I report and to whom? I have offered to take the yorkie and would provide all her care but I am sure they are just laughing at me....any suggestions???
