I don't think the scales at the vet's are accurate either. If the dog doesn't stand right in the middle & remain very still, the weight is wrong. Plus, our vet's scale is in the waiting room, so if people try to weigh themselves on it, it throws the scale off. I wonder how often those scales are checked & re-set?
