I just had Roxie spayed last month. She was a little mopey for a few days, and didn't eat at all for almost 48 hours afterward. I just did the best I could to not pester her and let her rest. Honestly, the hardest part was keeping her calm for 5-7 days. After day 3 she wanted to run and play like usual. She didn't bother the incision site, so she didn't wear an e-collar.
