When Gypsy was 2 yrs old we got a chihuahua. Gypsy was never a player but loved to lay around with Puff and tolerated her very well. Now Gyspy is 5.5 lbs and Puff is 4.5. Then we got a boston terrier pup who is 6 mos old and weighs 12.5 lbs. Gypsy does not get along with her. She will growl some if she comes near her and sometime will lunge at her. Never biting her though. Gypsy likes to sit on the loveseat while Puff and Sophie plays and bark at them.
