I have a brand new baby yorkie. She's only 11 weeks old and 2 pounds if that. She'll be about 3.5/4 pounds fully grown. I've take her out almost every 3 hours or every 4 hours in my yard (plus when I think she needs to go potty)(which is huge) and walked her around for about 10 to 15 minutes. Today I took her for a walk down the street and down a bike path/park for about 25 minutes. She seems like she really loves walking and playing outside and she seems like she didn't mind the longer walk today at all, but I notice every time I go to pick her up to bring her in the house she is shaking like she's freezing. It's not too cold here in Boston about in the 50's, at least this weekend and sunny, (probably cold for her little self), but just wondering if long walks should be restricted until it gets warmer? I did order her a nice warm coat. Not sure if she really is cold and that's why she's shaking or she doesn't want to come in or for some other reason. Any thoughts/advice would be great. I'm sooo obsessing over everything with her!
