I wanted to add a couple of things about the first time when Coco was killed.
That time, the boy's parents, my husband's Uncle and Aunt paid for Coco's vet bills and 2 days later the son was picked up on a parole violation and sent back to prison. That pitbull was euthanized by our local vet at the their request. Things were quite from that point on and for the last almost 2 years things have been very quite.
The son was released just weeks ago and had not been over to his parent's house enough for me to even know he was out. I did not know he was even out until Davinci got killed.
I feel like I need to explain this because this is the 2nd time this has happened. I honestly feel like i should have done something, anything to prevent this. I just don't know what to say. I feel so guilty and hate that it's so sad and quite around here right now.
